Friday is the most popular day to list in the Reno-Sparks real estate market. Those of you who have listed a home with Alicia and me know that our favorite days to list a home are Wednesday and Thursday. It gives prospective buyers sufficient notice to schedule a showing appointment for the weekend (especially if coming from out-of-area), and it also allows the new listing alert to stand out a little bit, because buyers are getting bombarded with email alerts on Friday. If you are a buyer, this data shows that you want to be especially watchful for new listings on Thursday and Friday.
